Benton House

Support Us

Born in the Settlement House movement in the early 20th century – Benton House is, at its core, a community institution. Our strength comes from our communities: both the current residents of our neighborhood, and the alumni of Benton House programs spread throughout Chicago and the country.

In these difficult times, we need your support more than ever. Please consider helping Benton House by:

* making a donation
* attending a fund-raising event
* assisting as a volunteer in any of our programs
* becoming a program sponsor
* volunteering your skills to aide in our rehab efforts
* helping us fulfill our wish lists

Because we have such a broad array of programs and serve a diverse constituency, we understand that volunteers are not just bodies to be instructed: whether you have experience in corporate development or carpentry, we want to work with you to put your skills and contributions to good use at Benton House.

Interested volunteers should contact our Volunteer Coordinator, Sophia Kortchmar, at (773) 927-6420, or by email at bhkortchmar@gmail.com.
